Timothy holds a PhD in coastal flood risk assessment and how society can adapt to the imminent increase in flood risk using Nature-based Solutions. Over the course of the academic career, Timothy developed interests in applying machine learning techniques to support Disaster Risk Management and joined the MYRIAD-EU team to intersect between society and disaster in a multi-hazard world using novel methods such as machine learning techniques. Next to this, Timothy has the role of Project Facilitator, in which he assists the MYRIAD-EU team with various management tasks.
