Sophie is a PhD candidate in the Water and Climate Risk department of the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM). Her work within the MYRIAD-EU project focuses on how post-disaster recovery after multi-hazard events can differ from recovery in a single-hazard context. To this end, she applies a broad range of different methods, including remote sensing techniques, (spatial) programming, statistical methods, and surveys. She also serves as the Early Career Representative of MYRIAD’s Early Career Research Board.
