Sharon is a marine ecologist with 20+ years’ experience in marine spatial planning, data science & information management and science-policy interaction. Sharon Tatman works for MYRIAD-EU as an Expert Advisor & Research Coordinator North Sea at Deltares. Together with my colleagues at Deltares and with BGS I coordinate the North Sea pilot activities within MYRIAD-EU. Her passion is for understanding how the space and resources of coastal seas can be managed sustainably in view of the ever increasing demands that society is putting on them. Her research focuses on how we can continue to do so in the future under socio-economic and climate change. Developing future pathways and solutions to deal with these complex issues in close collaboration with stakeholder groups such as policy advisors and sectoral representatives is what I enjoy most about my work in general and in MYRIAD.
