Melanie Duncan has over 10 years’ experience in of multi-hazards and disaster risk reduction (DRR) as an interdisciplinary scientist, with a specific interest in multi-hazards and their interrelationships in volcanic environments. She is the Multi-hazard Risk Reduction topic lead at the British Geological Survey (BGS) and have previously led BGS contributions to UK and European multi-hazard partnership projects, involving the provision of
scientific analysis and advice on global multiple hazards and their potential impacts. Melanie is WP1 (Diagnosis) lead and the Interdisciplinary Champion for MYRIAD-EU.
