Dr Adrian Champion is the Climate Research Lead for EMEA Reinsurance Solutions at Aon, one of the world’s largest reinsurance brokers, and co-chair of the Aon Research Forum. He has a PhD in Meteorology from the University of Reading, spent 7.5 years as a researcher in academia before working at the UK Met Office prior to joining Aon. At Aon his role is to work with academia, to translate the latest academic work into a view of risk, and work with clients on understanding the risk of climate change to the industry. Within MYRIAD-EU he is the Sectoral Champion and represents the Finance Sector and to share the work and findings from the project with the finance sector
